In nal record-keeping, the police department maintains a Disposition Sheet, which conrms the
arrest and selected charges.
9. Suspect Descriptions
Two forms of suspect descriptions are outlined below. Abbreviated suspect descriptions can prove
helpful during the initial investigation (Figure 6.26), but the suspect description forms shown in
Figures 6.27 and 6.28 are much more comprehensive and will result in more accurate information.
