1. Foot and Auto Surveillance
Some combination between foot and auto surveillance is often advisable, particularly in congested
urban areas. Figure 7.21 shows a subject vehicle being tailed by a surveillance vehicle on a suspected
or known route. Note that, one block up, a foot surveillance agent awaits the subject vehicle’s arrival.
As mentioned earlier, no surveillance vehicle should have only one agent, the driver. The demands
