In this chapter, we are going to introduce Britecharts, a charting library based on the Reusable API. We will review how Britecharts helps developers by
  • Representing different types of data with different charts

  • Making it easy for users to read the charts using its support components

  • Providing helpers to style charts and format numbers, dates, and axes

After reading this chapter, you will be familiar with the different charts Britecharts offers and when to use them. You will understand why we need support components, and you will be empowered to customize Britecharts by using its helper functions.
