One of the most exciting new features in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is the integration of Windows Workflow Foundation (WF). By building WF into SharePoint at the framework level, human workflow is available and seamlessly integrated into a powerful collaboration engine.
InfoPath plays into this workflow scenario in two ways: First of all, many aspects of the workflow interface leverage InfoPath for their interface. Second, the workflow capabilities are available to SharePoint form libraries so that users can leverage the workflow for forms applications.
