Table Views on iPad
Table views on the iPad work in exactly the same way as they do on the iPhone. That said, there are a few things to bear in mind when building interfaces for iPad apps.
- The larger screen means that you probably won't want the table to fill the full window; that means controlling the size when you lay out the view in Interface Builder, or setting the size programmatically.
- The greater screen real estate means that you can make cells a lot bigger (and their visual appearance correspondingly richer). Cells sized for the iPhone can seem very small and cramped on the bigger device.
