Monitor Reliability and Performance with Windows
Your Windows servers are the main container for your SharePoint farm. As such, having the tools to monitor their integrity is very important to your farm. Windows Server 2008 R2 offers a number of ways to monitor the reliability and performance of your system over time, all accessed via Server Manager. To open Server Manager, go to the Administrative Tools group in the Start menu on each of the servers in your SharePoint farm. You can also search for it in the Search box in the Start menu.
