Planning the Content Lifecycle
SharePoint is a powerful content creation platform. Creating sites, documents and other content items is as simple as using a web browser. As a result, many SharePoint installations become clogged with massive amounts of obsolete, unused and contradictory information. To avoid this situation, a good SharePoint governance plan should include processes for managing the entire content lifecycle (see Figure 6-8).
