Integrating Search-Driven Content
In Chapter 1, we introduced new features in SharePoint 2013 that use the power of search to surface dynamic content across sites. SharePoint 2013 is the first release of SharePoint to fully integrate FAST search into the core product. In this chapter, we learn how to integrate dynamic content from other sites and present the content with the same user interface by utilizing new out-of-the-box search web parts as well as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, display templates, query rules, and result types.
