CHAPTER 3
Branding and Design Changes
There is no special need to mention the new user interface (UI) in SharePoint 2010—the UI is an entirely new incarnation. Comparing the old and new would be very difficult, so it is easier to say, “Do not compare; everything has changed, so start adapting to the new look and feel.”

Believe us, you will soon realize that the changes are for your own good and ease. Let’s now dive right into the new UI, but first, look at Figures 3-1 and 3-2 to see how different these versions are with respect to the UIs.
