Part VI. Microsoft InfoPath Solutions

This section will focus on solutions built around Microsoft InfoPath. In Chapter 13 we focus on the challenges of taking forms to the Web by leveraging the new Forms Server capability of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. We discuss design concerns in integrating these web-based forms with enterprise systems, as well as demonstrate their flexibility for being hosted in custom applications and web parts. In Chapter 14 we add workflow to the forms processing, showing how to integrate Windows Workflow Foundation. This integration illustrates the ability to incorporate an ad-hoc, human-oriented workflow into an enterprise forms processing strategy.
