Chapter 8. Sync Services for ADO.NET 2.0: Offline Scenarios
Sync Services for ADO.NET 2.0 is a part of the Microsoft Sync Framework for synchronizing ADO.NET-enabled databases. Sync Services for ADO.NET 2.0 exposes application programming interfaces (APIs) to support synchronization between the following data stores:
Two SQL server databases
SQL Server Compact Edition (CE) 3.5 sp1 as client and SQL Server database as server
SQL Server CE 3.5 sp1 and any other database for which an ADO.NET provider is available
Two ADO.NET-enabled databases
