2.3. Configuring Telerik RadCompression
During the launch of version Q3 2008 SP2 of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, Telerik released the first version of the RadCompression HttpModule designed to compress the response of AJAX and web services calls.
The RadCompression module works by intercepting the information being sent from the server to the browser and compressing it before sending it to the client application. Once the information reaches the client, it is decompressed and delivered to the user as part of the browser communication process.
