I like to make a distinction between the actual elements that are involved when working with Telerik Reporting because they play very specific roles. There are three basic elements:

  • Reports are the elements that collect data from the datasource and transform the data into information with the format and layout defined for it.

  • Viewers are the elements that allow users to view and manipulate the reports.

  • Designers help developers create the reports.
