Hang on to your Underwater session. We’re going to use it in Chapter 11 to learn about automation and mixing. Here in Chapter 10, though, we’ll be creating a different session and using it to explore some new techniques.
We’re going to start by downloading and importing an entire drum kit so you can get more familiar with using groups of tracks. We’ll use these tracks to learn how to find the tempo of a loop and also how to set Pro Tools to work with different meters.
