Getting Started
There are so many possible configurations of Pro Tools LE systems that it is not practical to give you a comprehensive set of step-by-step instructions for all these. Fortunately, the instructions given in the Pro Tools LE manuals are generally very clear and easy to understand. In truth, setting up is easy enough. Connect the audio interface to your computer using the FireWire or USB cable that comes with the system. Hook up the microphones, instruments, a pair of powered speakers and any other equipment that you intend to use. Then load the Pro Tools LE software onto your computer, open a new (or existing) session – and you’re away!
