CHAPTER 3Development Processesand Frameworks

Over the years that I have worked in the IT business, I have come to adopt a mindset as to how I approach my job. This mindset has slowly but steadily grown on me, and I use it when I run projects for customers as well as when I have the role of being responsible for IT procurement. I cannot say I always succeed in following this mindset, but at least I try.

When I started reading about the agile movement a few years ago, I realized that the agile values were what I had been looking for. The agile community put words to the mindset I tried to follow in my daily work. The following excerpt from the Manifesto for Agile Software Development covers my mindset very well (http://agilemanifesto.org):
