Before you get into building your CMS project, it is important to understand a few things about Zend Framework (ZF). The core of ZF is a loosely coupled application framework that consists of a library of components.
These components are all written in object-oriented PHP, closely following the current best practices. They can be used independently, much like components in many other code libraries. For example, a developer can use the Zend_Service_Amazon
