End Game

Once the analytical work is complete, the rest of the process improvement project is concerned with formalizing recommendations, developing a cost-benefit analysis, error-proofing, developing metrics, and, finally, documenting the case for change in a final project report. The first chapter in this part discusses process redesign through error-proofing. A major task in this work is the compilation and reconciliation of all recommendations from all of the analyses. The last task discussed in this chapter is the validation and verification of the changed process, that is, its approval by key stakeholders, including the project sponsor.
