2.7. Standards and Quality
One of the important and significant contributions to quality is the judicious use of standards. This is because standards help alleviate gamey discussions, such as how to name a class or how to format a use case. Standards are not one single entity applied to the entire project. There are different standards and areas of their application. There are also different sources of standards. These are considered here with the view of improving the overall quality of the models and other deliverables in a UML-based project.
