4.3. Adoption of the Software Process
Adoption of the process (also occasionally called deployment) means bringing a fully configured process into the project. Furthermore, as correctly noted by Serour et al. [2002], for organizations with a procedural culture this transition to object technology using the UML presents an even bigger challenge in terms of culture change. If it is a process configured within a process tool, then this adoption process includes installation of the process and availability to all project-team members.
