suited for their application. Evaluate FFU to understand which pro-
cess parameters control performance.
• Determine your liability in the event of unforeseen accidents. The
incidence of serious failure cannot easily be evaluated until the
product is in routine use. Beware of secretive customers who may
conceal details, risks, and promises made to their customers.
• Invariably, the customers ask for a few changes that require only
minor process modications. Upon receiving those samples, they
