About the Author
Dr Kuang-Hua Chang is a Williams Companies Foundation Presidential Professor at the University of Oklahoma (OU), Norman, OK, USA. He received his PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa in 1990. Since then, he joined the Center for Computer-Aided Design (CCAD) at the University of Iowa as a research scientist and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Technical Area Manager. In 1996, he became an assistant professor at Northern Illinois University. Since 1997, he has been at OU, where he teaches mechanical design and manufacturing and conducts research in computer-aided modeling and simulation for design and manufacturing of mechanical systems.
