11.4 ARRIFLEX 35 III CAMERA (Figs. 11–11a, 11–11b, 11–11c)

11.4a Base
Fitted with 3/8″-16 tapped hole to accommodate tripod lockdown screw, riser, or bridgeplate (see Sec. 11.11) and two pilot holes.
NOTE: A special riser is required in order to hand-hold camera with dual grips, or to use accessories that mount to bridgeplate. A support bracket must be fitted to bridgeplate support rods (see Sec. 11.11) to support a zoom lens.
Base of riser has a single 3/8″-16 thread tapped hole and one pilot hole and is fitted with a 3/8″-16 thread thumbscrew to attach riser to camera. At each side of riser are mounting rosettes that accommodate handgrips.
