Appendix A. Community Resources

DotNetNuke is supported by a large community. In many circumstances, the community provides numerous high-quality reference resources that are often overlooked. Some of these resources are free (such as personal blogs or tutorials), and some consist of paid services (such as video training sites designed to help get users quickly up to speed).

The sites listed in this appendix are merely a small sampling of the various sites and resources available in the DotNetNuke community. I have selected these sites for inclusion because they are time-tested resources in the community that have a good track record of providing quality content to users. Simple directed searches via Google or other search engines will result in the identification of hundreds of additional resources.

The resources shown here are divided into two categories:

  • General resources

  • Skinning resources

The resources listed in this appendix are provided as additional information only. The individual site owners have not requested to be listed here — these are simply sites that the author deems helpful for DotNetNuke module developers.

General Resources

The following resources are general community resources that contain a wide variety of information on DotNetNuke. Each resource is listed with a bit of information regarding the typical content found, as well as the normal frequency of updates.
