Installing a Product

At the time of writing, most add-on products are still old-style Zope 2 products. However, the Plone community has recently begun to use Python eggs to distribute software. Therefore, eggs are likely to become more important as a distribution mechanism for Plone products in the near future.

We have already seen how to install an egg: list it in the buildout.cfg file under the eggs option, as we did with the optilux.policy egg in Chapter 5.
