A Brief KSS Reference

We will now take a closer look at the syntax of KSS style sheets and the most common commands used in client-side and server-side actions. For more details, please refer to http://kssproject.org.

Kinetic Style Sheet Syntax

We have already seen the general syntax for event handler declarations in KSS style sheets:

<CSS selector>:<eventname> {
    evt-<eventname>-<parameter>: <value>;

    action-[server|client]: <actionname>
    <actionnname>-<parameter1>: <value>;
    <actionnname>-<parameter2>: <value>;

    ... /* more action specifiers as necessary */
}

A KSS file can contain as many such declarations as are needed. The CSS selector follows CSS-like rules. Consult any good CSS reference for more details.
