SUMMARY

This chapter introduced the use of the FTDI USB to Serial devices and modules. The FTDI driver was used to introduce a number of topics. You learned how to include a binary driver as a Catalog component and how to wrap a driver as a higher level stream driver. How to add content to an operating system project using the CEComponentWiz Wizard and accessing a serial port were also introduced in the chapter.
