Stem cell tourism

Abstract:

Stem cell research is a highly contentious area for a number of reasons. One emerging issue in the field concerns the developing international market for unproven stem cell-based interventions, or stem cell ‘tourism’. Focus on this issue has been growing and a foundation of preliminary research addressing the state of the stem cell tourism market, its attendant risks and possible responses, has been laid.
