communication problem, you can up the ante a little by saying to B, “How
is it working with A; is she giving you all the help you need?” If B is really
resentful of or belligerent to A, you will probably hear it in B’s answer. It may
be subtle, because people do not like to “make trouble.” But the tone of the
answer, and maybe some gentle follow-up, can at least identify a concern.
