So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Parte III. Y sal por el otro lado
Ya está. Lo difícil ya está hecho. Ésa es toda la teoría funcional que voy a presentar en este libro. Si quieres profundizar en ese aspecto, tendrás que plantearte aprender teoría de categorías y/o un lenguaje funcional puro como Haskell, o algo parecido.
Tus días de jornalero han terminado. Has aprendido todo lo que necesitas para ser peligroso. A continuación viene el camino más lento: más deliberado y ponderado hacia convertirte en un maestro por derecho propio.
Ese camino no terminará con este libro. Tendrás que irte y completarlo tú mismo. Por ahora, puedo darte algunas ideas para que las consideres y las lleves más lejos por tu cuenta. Es discutible si existe un verdadero maestro en el mundo del desarrollo de software, pero me parece un bonito horizonte al que aspirar, aunque al final nunca lo alcance.
