URLSessionFormat

Synopsis

                  URLSessionFormat(url)

If the client does not accept cookies, URLSessionFormat( ) appends appropriate client identification parameters (CFID, CFToken, jsessionid) to the end of the specified URL. Otherwise, the URL is returned as is. This function provides similar functionality to the addtoken attribute of the cflocation tag. However, URLSessionFormat( ) is more powerful and versatile in that it only appends identification information in the event a client does not support cookies. Additionally, URLSessionFormat( ) can be used anywhere a URL is coded, whereas cflocation is only used to redirect a user to another location. Here’s an example that uses URLSessionFormat( ) to create a link that passes identification parameters only if your browser doesn’t support cookies:
