1.3.6 Edit/Debug Window
The MATLAB Editor/Debugger provides a graphical user interface for basic text editing and
M-file debugging. The Editor/Debugger is a single tool that can be used for editing, debugging,
or both. An Edit/Debug window is created automatically when you create a new M-file or open
an existing file. You can create a new M-file (or New Script) by using the Tab: “Home > New
> Script” or alternatively press “Ctrl+N.” You can open an existing M-file with the “Home
> Open” selection. Alternatively, you can do these tasks through the shortcuts available on
