The System.Security.Cryptography.Xml namespace provides support for the XML Signature standard, which specifies a mechanism for representing cryptographic signatures as XML documents. The full specification for the XML Signature standard can be found at http://www.w3.org/TR/xmldsig-core/. Figure 26-1 shows the types in this namespace.
