Summary

This chapter was about implementing the IoT using Python programs. We made BeagleBone connected components available on the Internet. First we made a web app that was showing temperature read by BeagleBone. Then we used the POST method to turn an LED attached to BeagleBone on and off remotely. We found REST is a popular standard for implementing the IoT. So, we created a small restful app that changes the angle of the servo motor based on the value provided in the URL.
