Brief History of Project Based Learning (PBL)
The idea of using applied projects for learning is not new. Architects, painters, and sculptors in 16th century Italy desired to be thought of as much more than skilled artisans like stone masons and carpenters, who learned their craft through oral tradition and apprenticeship practices.
