Introduction

Although this book makes the assumption that a project plan has already been developed, this chapter considers the critical elements of project planning. Planning and re-planning are part of project management that have to be done at regular intervals. Project work plans and schedules are important management tools. In the PRINCE2 methodology planning is a repeatable process and plays an important role in other project management processes.
