What is it?
THE CHANGE IMPACT ASSESSMENT (CIA) is basically a gap analysis to understand where the greatest differences are between the future and current state (to-be and as-is) of the organisation and implications of the project on people, processes and technology. This is usually done by comparing current and future process maps. A CIA differentiates, by degrees of impact, which areas of the organisation will experience the most change or disruption.
