Schedule Computations
Once a suitable network has been drawn, with durations assigned to all activities, it is necessary to perform computations to determine the longest path through the project. If start and finish dates for the project have already been dictated, these calculations will tell whether the required dates can be met. On the other hand, if a start date is given, the computations will provide the earliest completion date for the project.
