TOOLS FOR CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Tool 1.1 is not so much a tool as it is a guide to what can be expected in the life cycle of a project. The graphic depicts a typical project life cycle, with the associated activities the project manager and his or her team might expect to encounter. The value of this type of graphic is that it helps clarify what the typical activities are during each phase of a project and, therefore, suggests to the project manager what tools can best be used to address the activities.
