8 CONCLUSIONS
8.1 Introduction
The ideas of this book originate from the mobile WAVE approach [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10] that allowed us, more than a half century ago, to implement citywide heterogeneous computer networks and solve distributed problems on them, well before the internet. The invented paradigm, which evolved into Spatial Grasp Technology, resulted in a European patent [11] and eight John Wiley, Springer, Emerald, and Taylor & Francis books [12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19] oriented on concrete applications in graph and network theory, defense and social systems, crisis management, simulation of global viruses, gestalt theory, collective robotics, space research, and many others.
