IoT Garden

We live in an era where our phones talk to light bulbs and where toothbrushes want to access the internet. This is possible through the Internet of Things (IoT), networks of everyday devices embedded with sensors that communicate with each other and the internet, usually in a wireless fashion. In this chapter, you’ll build your own IoT sensor network to monitor the temperature and humidity conditions in your garden. The network will consist of one or more low-power devices running Python code and transmitting real-time sensor data wirelessly to a Raspberry Pi.
