Preceding chapters have explained how to gather data for a qualitative study through interviews, observations, and documents. In this chapter we discuss managing those data and analyzing them. A chapter on data analysis following chapters on collecting qualitative data is a bit misleading because collection and analysis should be a simultaneous process in qualitative research.
