Conclusions

Preliminary results show that interferometric quantum radar using entangled photons can provide a quadratic increase of resolution over non-entangled photons even in an attenuating environment [97]. Quantum illumination offers higher signal-to-noise ratio which increases the detectability and identification of stealth targets even in the presence of noise or a jamming signal [67].
