Chapter Ten: Marketing in the internet age
In the last few years computers and allied technology have revolutionised markets and marketing.
Some things are obviously electronic such as computers, computer games, digital cameras and smart phones. Others that appear to be simply electric, such as washing machines and refrigerators are often kept functioning by computer chips. The “intelligent house”, with almost every appliance communicating via the new technologies is already technically possible. (Someone will soon have the job of marketing its advantages!).
