Chapter Six: Builders
Few people these days choose to live in the open, or in a cave. Not many of us can build our own accommodation. The homes and buildings that builders create, in which we work, play and generally live our lives represent an immense investment in time, money and effort. Their construction calls for a wide range of skills. We will consider at least some of these.
This is something of a courtesy term for an individual who runs a building business, which may be quite small. As such he can be regarded as “the builder”.
