Step 3. Calculate Your Value
You are almost there. This stage of the valuation process always takes me back to my days running the 440 for my high school track team, once around the track in an all-out sprint. If you have ever run that particular race, you know the feeling that comes over you about three-quarters of the way around, when your legs turn to jelly, your lungs can’t absorb oxygen fast enough, and your whole body begs you to stop. And then, magically, you turn the corner into the last 50 yards, the home stretch. Something about seeing that finish line always gave me a lift.
