The Trouble With Quotas

It was raining, which added to the mood of the dreary morning as my body reminded me that it was only 1:30 a.m. in the States. I swung open the door of the black cab and sprinted into Victoria Station to catch the 7:10 a.m. train. I had about an hour’s ride, enough time to prepare for my meeting. Our client, a global network technology company, had been struggling to hit its numbers.
