Publish Your App to Google Play

Now that we’ve created the Android application package, we are one step away from publishing our app to Google Play.[302] Play is the official marketplace for Android apps, home to over 700,000 apps and games (as many as the Mac App Store). The Play Store is the centralized hub for Android apps, and it can be searched and browsed by categories. App users rate the apps available in the Play Store and provide feedback on app benefits and issues. To reach the broadest group of Android customers, you will want to publish your app to Google Play.
