Summary
In this chapter, we covered how to create various basic websites running on .NET or PHP hosting platforms. Nginx is truly a versatile and fast proxy server, which helps us achieve the variety of web applications that we can provide.
We had a look at how to host .NET MVC and PHP as well as install two different types of database engines, all running side by side in harmony.
In the next chapter, we will set up file sharing for your local network and ownCloud for Internet-based storage.
