Introduction

One of the key aspects of the Raspberry Pi that differentiates it from an average computer is its ability to interface with and control hardware. In this chapter, we use the Raspberry Pi to control remotely activated mains sockets, send commands over serial connections from another computer, and control the GPIO remotely.
